So’Custom Bows & Tiez is a fashion design company that specializes in handcrafted two twist bows, classic bowties, Self-tying bowties and straight ties. So’Custom uses the classic silk to make the bowtie, but we’ve branched out using cotton, polyester, satin, leather and soon on. We can craft bowties out any fabrication. We also do bowties with various attachments such as: 3D material and chains. So’Custom aims to provide great customer service and artfully done products.

This is a family owned and operated business in Evanston, IL and serves the Chicago land area

Designers

Charrisse Roberson: I've been a professional fashion designer for over 25 years, I created Gettwisted Designs in 1997 where I designed wedding dresses, Prom Dresses, did alterations & recreations. I've done stylist work and fashion show productions. I knew that I wanted to create more and do more so I went on to create 2Twist Bows where you have 2 bow ties for the price of one. Then my son Carl'Drail and I launched the online store in 2019. One of most proudest moments, because I've gone a long way from selling clothes from home to selling online.

Carl'Drail Cannon: When I took on the responsibility of COO of So'Custom Bows & Tiez, I was still in Graduate school getting my dual master's in Architecture and Business Administration. Fashion has always been a part of me and inspired me to be whoever I wanted to be while looking fashionable. I always thought I had to become just an architect, but watching mom venture into various aspects of her career; I figured why can't I.
